The Launch's drummer, Kevin Keefe, has a need for speed.  He does everything fast.  Whether it's the toil of day work, the intricately placed  paradiddle, within impeccable meter; or sailing down an icy black diamond decline, speed and precision characterize Kevin's play.  This may be the result of a career long interest in progressive music.  Styx and Kansas are among Kevin's favorite rock groups.  He finds himself influenced by bands like Dream Theater and drummers like Simon Phillips.

     As a whole, within the Launch, Kevin actually maybe the most experienced of it's members.  His "war stories" of full time casino work are in themselves entertaining and as an entertainer, Kevin is truly fun to watch.  The expressive joy of music that he exudes is contagiously captivating.  He brings his love for the craft of percussion and the magic in music to the stage in a way that's unique and sure to please.
